as busy professionals with two children, jess and andy reached out when they moved into their new home. in previous houses they had always wanted to renovate and refurnish but life always got in the way; they promised this time it would be different.

after our consultation and learning more about their loves and interests, we knew we were looking at more of an eclectic style, reflecting they love to travel and colourful personalities. however we didn't want to give them a look that was 'too busy' but something a little more refined. our brief was to give them a home they could walk into and truly switch off from their busy jobs. 

​

working with some of their existing pieces, we soon developed a concept for the living/dining and kitchen area. the bones of the space were fine, including the kitchen, it just needed a little 'face-lift.' after new paint, carpets, lighting and window furnishings, we began work on filling in the gaps with new furniture, rugs and restyling of their artwork and decor. we also replaced the kitchen splash back with a beautiful handmade green tile and installed new tapware. we gave their guest bedroom a refresh with new bedding, and restyling of some existing pieces. 

 

stage two commences shortly with work starting on their master bedroom and second living room.
